Our Toddling Tigers room is designed for children who are becoming increasingly curious, mobile, and eager to do things “all by myself.” At this stage, children thrive on opportunities to explore, make choices, and test their growing independence — and our environment supports them every step of the way.
Every Child is Unique
Inspired by The Curiosity Approach, Toddling Tigers offers a rich mix of real-life objects, natural materials, and open-ended resources that encourage imagination, conversation, and problem-solving. The room is carefully arranged to allow children freedom of movement, giving them space to climb, create, investigate, and express themselves in their own unique ways.
Providing Gentle Guidance
Our practitioners understand that toddlers learn through doing, so we follow their interests, extend their ideas, and provide gentle guidance as they begin navigating friendships, big emotions, and new experiences. We focus on building strong communication skills, supporting early language development, and helping children develop confidence in their social interactions.
Becoming Bold Explorers
Daily routines in Toddling Tigers flow calmly and predictably, giving children the security they need to explore freely. Whether they’re mixing up sensory play, engaging in role-play, or diving into early creative activities, toddlers are encouraged to follow their curiosity and grow at a pace that’s right for them.
In this lively and nurturing space, our little Tigers become bold explorers — learning who they are and what they can do.
Funding & Fees

- Full day 7.45am to 6.00pm: £88.70
- Half day 7.45am to 1.00pm: £47.80
- Half day 1.00pm to 6.00pm: £47.80

For eligible funded 2 year olds
- 10 - hour funded day + meals: £12.10
- 5 - hour funded day + meals: £9.00
- 10 - hour funded day + Enhanced childcare: £8.60
- 5 - hour funded day + Enhanced childcare: £4.30
Government funding does not cover meals or our enhanced childcare.
All food is cooked with fresh ingredients on site. Meals included for a whole day are breakfast, morning snack, two course lunch, afternoon snack, two course tea.

Please note this charge is voluntary, this includes nappies, wipes, nappy cream, suncream, forest school, kitchen expenses, lower ratios for local walks, and outings online learning journey (Famly) and lots more, for more details please contact the office.
Government Funding
We can offer funded places for 9 months to 4 years for eligible families.
This is available from the term after your child turns 9 months, 2 years and 3 years, this is for 30 hours funding for 38 weeks of the year, we offer stretch funding through the holidays.
