Our Baby Bears room is carefully designed for our youngest children, aged from three months to two years old, offering a peaceful, secure, and loving environment where babies can grow, explore, and build their earliest relationships. We understand that these first years are a time of rapid development, and our dedicated baby team provides consistent care, warm interactions, and individual attention to ensure each child feels safe, supported, and cherished.

The Curiosity Approach
In Baby Bears, we follow The Curiosity Approach principles, meaning we create a soft, natural environment that encourages calm exploration rather than overstimulation. We use real, sensory-rich materials, gentle lighting, and cosy spaces that allow babies to feel relaxed and confident as they discover the world around them. From treasure baskets to simple open-ended resources, everything is chosen to spark curiosity and encourage early communication, physical development, and independent thinking.
We Work Closely With Families
Our practitioners work closely with families to follow each baby’s own routine, ensuring feeding, sleep, and comfort are always handled with care and consistency. We value the strong bond between babies and their key person, helping little ones feel emotionally secure as they develop trust and form loving attachments.
Baby Bears is Not Just a Room
As children grow and become more mobile, the Baby Bears room naturally adapts — offering opportunities for early climbing, exploratory play, sensory experiences, and social interaction. Every milestone is celebrated, and every child’s individual pace is respected.
At Robin’s Childcare, Baby Bears is not just a room — it’s the beginning of each child’s journey with us, filled with warmth, curiosity, and gentle encouragement.

- Full day 7.45am to 6.00pm: £92.00
Funded
For eligible funded 9 months+ babies
- 10 - hour funded day + meals: £12.10
- 10 - hour funded day + Enhanced childcare: £8.60
Government funding does not cover meals or our enhanced childcare.
All food is cooked with fresh ingredients on site. Meals included for a whole day are breakfast, morning snack, two course lunch, afternoon snack, two course tea.

Please note this charge is voluntary, this includes nappies, wipes, nappy cream, suncream, forest school, kitchen expenses, lower ratios for local walks, and outings online learning journey (Famly) and lots more, for more details please contact the office.
Government Funding
We can offer funded places for 9 months to 4 years for eligible families.
This is available from the term after your child turns 9 months, 2 years and 3 years, this is for 30 hours funding for 38 weeks of the year, we offer stretch funding through the holidays.
